The following images are of various beers from the Science Department of Florida State University. This should surprise absolutely no one.
This is a digitally colored electron micrograph of a sample of Budweiser beer.
The image on the left is Heineken; Amstel beer is on the right.
For a change of pace, the Science Department of Florida State also photographs and digitizes burgers and fries, birthstones, educational equipment-- just about anything, really. The following image is of an opal. It is made photogenic by its poor lattice, rendering the image less linear than those of diamonds.
